Plugin Approval

Before any plugin appears in OpenStore it must be approved by OpenWack committee. This committee is the same folks behind the dev-helm (in blue jeans and with coffee cups) so forgive us the bureaucratic term. We just thought it should sound kind of… serious.

Why it's necessary

Approval process

  1. You submit your plugin/theme to the OpenStore and it gets queued for approval.
  2. Approval takes anywhere from 1 hour to 1 week. You should not make status inquiries, all pieces of work are queued and will be considered whenever time permits.
  3. The committee sends you notification about the result. If your plugin/theme is accepted it appears in the OpenStore under appropriate categories. Note that the category can be changed if we believe that the plugin is misclassified. If your plugin/theme is rejected you can expect human explanation from us and/or a link to the clause in the OpenStore Terms of (un)approval so you can quickly find out what went wrong. After correction you can submit your work again.
