Contact Importer

This is the contact importer plugin that will allow your users to invite their friends from various social networks and email services.

Go to http://developers.facebook.com/setup/ and create an application

Enter your site name and URL (e.g. My test site and http://mytestsite.wackwall.com/):

Copy 'App ID' and 'App Secret' from the next page

Go to your Contact Importer settings area, Facebook section. Enter the API key and Secret in “Settings” tab. Facebook importer is ready to use.

Go to https://developer.apps.yahoo.com/projects and log in to your Yahoo account.

Click “New project”:

Choose the type of application:

Fill info as described. Put your own data instead of {name},{desc} and {mysite}:

Indicate that your application needs access to private user data:

—

Choose “Read” option for Yahoo Contacts:

—

Submit the form:

—

Now you need to verify domain. Copy Verification File Name that Yahoo creates for you:

Paste it in your sites's Yahoo settings page and press Save:

After that return to Yahoo website and press Verify Domain:

—

You will get API key, Shared secret and Application ID:

—

Set them in your site's Contact Importer settings page:

—

Yahoo importer is ready to use.
